Serious concern regarding severe water shortage has gripped Gwadar, a critical coastal area of Balochistan. Despite its strategic importance as a hub for CPEC and for international trade, the people of Gwadar face a critical lack of access to clean water. The scarcity is so severe that water is often found hundreds of feet beneath the soil, making it nearly impossible for residents to meet their basic needs and sustain their livelihoods.
This dire situation is causing immense hardships for the local population, rendering daily life extremely challenging. I urgently request the government to take immediate action to address this crisis and provide sustainable water facilities to the people of Gwadar. Their intervention is crucial to alleviating the suffering and ensuring better quality of life for the residents of this vital region.
