The students of Balochistan are facing a serious problem when it comes to securing their future. Most students are not counselled about the choices presented to them, and they remain puzzled about college and university admissions as well.
Students are not well acquainted with groups such as pre-medical, pre-engineering, arts and computer science. Therefore, when they have to face this choice, they are often confused. Many also choose subjects based on what their friends choose, rather than according to their own interests.
Educators and all concerned authorities must introduce proper career counselling in schools so that students are well-equipped to select the subjects that align with their interests, ultimately building a successful path towards their future.
