Yesterday, it was officially announced that 3G and 4G internet services will remain suspended across Balochistan till August 31. In today’s era, almost all our daily tasks depend on the internet. If it is turned off even for a day, many essential activities are disrupted. How are people supposed to manage almost a month without internet? Especially students who are preparing for tests like MDCAT and the commission exam. If there’s no internet, will they be able to prepare effectively? Absolutely not!
The MDCAT is going to be held on October 5. Students prepare for it through online videos, classes and study material. If they don’t have access to the internet, their probability of passing decreases. They will also miss out on important updates.
Moreover, online businesses will be deeply affected. Online shopping is also a no-go. Students in other cities will not be able to contact their parents. Balochistan will be cut off from the rest of the country.
The government is urged to restore internet services so the people of Balochistan can resume daily life in peace.
