Many products being imported into Pakistan, including face wash, creams, hair oils and lotions, are fake and harmful to the public. These fake products are available in every shopping mall and are being sold regardless of the damage they are causing.
I bought one of these products in a shopping mall in Khuzdar city. Some days after using it, I noticed acne on my cheek and on my head. Upon visiting a dermatologist, I was told that those products were to blame, which was shocking to me as they were quite expensive.
These inauthentic products are being sold all across the country and unsuspecting customers are buying them, only to later realise that they’ve wasted their money. I request the government to act instantaneously again these harmful products. The relevant authorities should pay a surprise visit to shops in Khuzdar for the sake of upholding basic safety standards.
