As a resident of Qasimabad, Hyderabad, I would like to bring attention to the situation at the SICVD Cardiac Emergency, a heart hospital that is doing commendable work. However, the individuals who are waiting outside for their loved ones face significant challenges. The hospital provides a small waiting area with approximately ten long chairs, which are used not only for sitting, but also as beds during the night.
Many people are forced to wait outside the hospital, often beside the kerb of the road. When there is lack of space, people even wait at a nearby place where there are toilets. Unfortunately, the area is plagued by an unpleasant odour, affecting those who wait or even sleep there during the day. I urge the authorities to consider creating a more suitable space where families can wait comfortably for their hospitalised loved ones.
