The condition of the Civil Hospital in Turbat is a serious crisis. The hospital lacks basic medical facilities and there is a clear absence of responsibility among some of the medical staff. As a result, many patients are losing their precious lives due to delayed or inadequate treatment.
The situation becomes worse at night — patients often find no doctors available at all. This lack of availability is a major concern for the local community. Moreover, the hospital’s cleanliness is extremely poor. Even healthy visitors risk falling ill due to the unhygienic environment.
There is no doubt that people are dying just for want of proper medical facilities. The lives that could be saved are being lost for the simple reason that access to health — which should be ensured to all at all costs — is not a priority at all of our government.
I urge the provincial government as well as the relevant authorities to take immediate action to improve facilities at the Civil Hospital, ensure the presence of qualified doctors, and maintain proper hygiene. The people of Turbat will be truly grateful for your support.
