The lack of proper educational opportunities in Balochistan has become one of the biggest reasons why competitive exams and job recruitments are so challenging for the youth of the restive province.
In most parts of Balochistan, especially rural areas, there is a severe shortage of qualified teachers, functioning schools, colleges, libraries, coaching centres, and even basic internet access. While students from other provinces enjoy better educational facilities and digital resources, Balochistan students are often left behind through no fault of their own.
This unequal access to education leads to unfair competition in national tests and job recruitment exams. When everyone is made to sit for the same test without being given the same resources to prepare, how can we call it a fair chance?
The government must recognise that equal opportunities in education are the foundation of fair competition. Without immediate investment in Balochistan’s education infrastructure, we are not just holding back a province — we are denying thousands of deserving young people their right to a better future.
