Educational crisis

Educational crisis

Knowledge is power, and the lack of it — referred to as analphabetism (illiteracy) — is the root cause of backwardness in many societies. In underdeveloped and economically disadvantaged regions, such as Balochistan, the level of knowledge remains significantly low.

This is primarily due to the absence of proper educational facilities and support systems. Students often struggle due to poorly equipped schools, lack of learning materials and inadequate access to technology. Moreover, the standard of teaching is often subpar, with many teachers lacking proper training or motivation. This further hampers the quality of education, reinforcing the cycle of poverty and underdevelopment.

To break this cycle, it is essential for the government and other stakeholders to invest in educational infrastructure by providing scholarships, offering teacher training programmes and building more schools in remote areas. Encouraging digital education and community-based learning initiatives can also help bridge the gap. By ensuring equal opportunities for all, we can lay the foundation for a more prosperous and equitable society.
