It is truly heartbreaking that creative skills like art, music and sports are often discouraged in the rural areas of Balochistan. Many young people with natural talent never get a chance to explore or polish their abilities because of social pressures and a lack of opportunities.
Parents often fear that these fields will not provide a stable future, while society treats them as less valuable than traditional professions. As a result, many gifted individuals are forced to give up on their passions. If proper guidance and facilities were provided, these talented people could bring pride not only to themselves but also to their province and the whole country.
There is thus an urgent need to highlight the importance of these fields. Schools and communities should encourage such talents and create opportunities for young people to express themselves and contribute positively to society. We must realise that supporting art, music and sports is not against tradition, it is a way to build a brighter and more vibrant society.
