It is disheartening to state that the Male College of Nursing Larkana, the largest nursing college in Sindh, still does not have its own building and is currently operating under the Paramedical Department. The college lacks basic facilities such as proper classrooms, a library, a skills lab, and hostel accommodation.
Furthermore, the recent approval of an evening shift raises serious concerns. When the college is already struggling with inadequate infrastructure, how can it possibly support an additional shift?
This situation is a clear violation of students’ basic academic rights. Every student deserves access to a proper learning environment and essential educational resources. I urge the provincial health authorities to address this pressing issue and allocate a separate building for the Male College of Nursing Larkana. If we truly aim to produce competent healthcare professionals, we must first provide them with the solid foundation they need to thrive.
