KARACHI:
At the Govt Girls Degree College in Turbat, students face a myriad of issues but one in particular is a serious transportation crisis. The college has very few buses, which are not enough for all students. Many students can’t afford to hire private transportation and, as a result, they are unable to attend their classes regularly.
Apart from this, some students living in rural areas like Dasht, Ginnah, Shahrak, amongst others, are deprived of their right to education. The few available buses do not operate in those areas and as a result, most girls there are unable to go to college.
The government and higher authorities are humbly requested to solve this issue by providing more buses and ensuring that transportation is accessible for everyone.
