CSS age limit

CSS, which stands for Central Superior Services, is a competitive exam in Pakistan that selects people for government jobs in the police, foreign services and customs amongst others. It is a great opportunity for educated people to serve the country and build strong careers.

However, there is one big problem — the age limit. Right now, many talented and hardworking people miss the chance to appear in the CSS exam just because they are a little older. Many students finish their education late due to different reasons, like financial problems or personal issues. By the time they are ready, they are already over the age limit.

The government should consider raising the age limit for CSS exams. Older people generally have more experience and maturity, which can help them become better officers. Moreover, in many other countries, the age limit for such exams is higher.

Raising the age limit would not only create a fairer opportunity for all aspiring candidates but also allow the government to benefit from a broader, more experienced talent pool.
