Traffic signals

Traffic signals

Despite being the second largest and one of the most populated cities in Balochistan, Turbat still lacks a well-structured traffic management system. This has become a growing concern for residents and daily commuters, leading to serious traffic congestion and safety hazards.

The lack of proper guidance results in confusion and frustration among drivers, forcing them to take risky maneuvers. Relying on guesswork and personal judgment often leads to accidents and injuries.

The authorities should urgently install and upgrade traffic signals at key intersections. It is crucial to ensure that these signals are functional, visible, and regularly maintained. Investing in modern traffic management systems, such as adaptive signals, can further enhance road safety and improve the overall flow of traffic.
