Pakistan’s baseball team delivered a stunning performance, defeating India 14-1 in the semifinal of the West Asia Baseball Cup. The dominant win booked Pakistan’s place in the final against Palestine, showcasing their skills and determination. The match, played in Karaj, Iran, ended early due to the mercy rule after seven innings, with Pakistan asserting control from the start.
Pakistan’s batsmen fired on all cylinders, with Hussain leading the charge.

He registered two hits, two RBIs, and scored four runs, setting the tone for the team’s impressive performance. Wasim Akram and Muhammad Rehan also made significant contributions, combining for four hits and four RBIs. The Pakistani bowlers were equally impressive, with Muhammad Haris allowing just one earned run and striking out four batters over 4.1 innings. The relief pitchers, Syed Muhib Shah and Hussain Imam, sealed the win with 2.2 scoreless innings, striking out five.

With this dominant win, Pakistan advances to the final, where they’ll face Palestine in a bid to defend their title. The Pakistan Federation Baseball President, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, dedicated the victory to the armed forces of Pakistan, highlighting the team’s pride and commitment to representing their country.
