The examination centre in Mashkey is known as the biggest examination centre in Balochistan but its lack of facilities fails to reflect the diverse groups of students it caters to.
Unfortunately, in the examination hall of Mashkey, there are no fans or water coolers, or even electricity. These are fundamental necessities of every school and college, but Mashkey remains deprived of such facilities. Approximately more than 500 students sit cramped in a small hall, where the heat is almost unbearable.
The government needs to ensure that basic facilities are provided to every single examination centre so that students are at least provided with the bare minimum. The installation of fans and water coolers is a glaring requisite to reduce students’ stress, anxiety, and discomfort.
