There is a major lack of health services at Civil Hospital Kalat – a critical issue that citizens are being forced to deal with. In case of fatal accidents, people have died due to the unavailability of services at emergency wards. There is almost a nonexistence of premedical staff and doctors to treat patients in critical conditions and handle their treatment and care in a timely manner.
Services of new ambulances, specialist doctors, modern medicines and modern electronic machines for medical aid are just dreams for the people of Kalat.
It is essential to establish at least the most basic healthcare facilities in Kalat to address severe gaps in the medical infrastructure. Without these services, residents will continue to face life-threatening delays in treatment that could otherwise be prevented.
The concerned authorities, including the Chief Minister of Balochistan, must urgently take concrete steps to improve healthcare. This includes ensuring the availability of trained medical and emergency staff, ambulances, along with essential medicines and surgery equipment.
