The Hub Chowki’s main RCD road, which connects Balochistan to Sindh, is causing chaos in the city due to its narrowness. Thousands of vehicles, ranging from motorbikes to heavy trucks and trailers, travel along this narrow route every day and due to the high volume of traffic, it has become a source of accidents almost daily as well.
Two vehicles can hardly pass through the road side by side, and when one vehicle attempts to switch to another lane, it struggles to maintain its balance, resulting in an accident. These traffic accidents have become a routine occurrence on the RCD road. The concerning narrowness of this road is putting the lives of civilians at risk. The current infrastructure is simply not equipped to handle the volume of traffic it receives daily.
City leaders and provincial authorities must take note of the situation and take immediate action. The solution lies in widening this critical road which will alleviate the current traffic congestion.
