The residents of apartment buildings in FB Area Block 10 of Karachi are facing significant challenges due to the lack of proper parking facilities on the service road. The service road, which is meant to facilitate smooth traffic and provide convenience to residents, has become overcrowded due to haphazard and unregulated parking.
The situation is further worsened by outsiders who frequently park their vehicles in the area, adding to the congestion. It becomes difficult for residents to find space, while emergency vehicles also often face difficulties in passing through.
This situation necessitates immediate action by local authorities and all concerned departments, including the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), the District Municipal Corporation Central (DMC), and the Traffic Police. These bodies must work together to regulate the parking system so that residents may find some relief.
