The non-availability of a regular bench of the Federal Services Tribunal (FST) in Sindh is a matter of urgent public concern. A significant number of government employees in the province, aggrieved by disciplinary actions, wrongful dismissals, suspensions or administrative injustices, are left without accessible legal recourse due to the absence of this bench.
Despite their constitutional and legal right to seek justice, these individuals are compelled to travel to Islamabad or wait indefinitely for ad hoc or circuit benches. The entire alternative process causes undue financial, emotional and professional hardship. Such delays in the delivery of justice not only undermine fundamental rights but also go against the spirit of moral teachings. It is imperative that a permanent FST bench be established in Sindh to uphold justice and equity for all.
