No electricity in Gichk

Gichk is a village in Panjgur district of Balochistan. Gichk is among those unfortunate parts of Balochistan that have no power supply. Can anyone imagine living without electricity in the high-tech era of today? Many other villages of Balochistan lack basic facilities, including electricity. It goes without saying that the absence of electricity affects the daily lives of people, besides hampering social and economic development in the region. Federal and provincial authorities must take an immediate action and ensure proper electricity supply to the many villages of Balochistan that are still devoid of it.
