Many government schools in Balochistan are facing a severe shortage of science teachers. However, the situation at Govt Boys High School Balghter is particularly dire, with more than 500 students unable to study important subjects like biology, physics and chemistry. Since these are important subjects, the lack of qualified teachers is dimming the future prospects of students.
A large number of families in Balochistan rely on government schools and are thus rightly concerned because of the lack of teachers to teach important science subjects. In today’s technology-driven world, where computer literacy and scientific knowledge are essential, it is unacceptable that a government school lacks science teachers.
The students of Govt Boys High School Balghter are counting on the provincial government to save their academic year and secure their future. The government must immediately recruit qualified science teachers to fill the vacant positions at the mentioned school, besides developing a long-term plan to address the shortage of science teachers in government schools across Balochistan.
