Kenichi Community School, established by the Balochistan Education Foundation (BEF) in 2008, is currently facing a significant educational crisis. It is located in the underdeveloped and remote region of Kenichi, approximately 50 kilometres from District Awaran.
From its establishment till 2017, this school has remained among the top-performing community schools owing to the sincere efforts of highly skilled and trained educators who imparted quality education. However, the situation has drastically deteriorated since their departure and the school is now facing a severe shortage of qualified educators. The absence of competent staff has caused students to lose interest in their studies, with many even dropping out entirely. This alarming situation threatens the future of our children, leaving them without access to the education they deserve.
Immediate intervention is required to appoint qualified, skilled and dedicated educators at Kenichi Community School. Addressing this issue on a priority basis will not only restore the school’s educational standards but will also rekindle the culture of education.
