The FPSC is going to conduct the CSS 2025 exams on February 15 without announcing the results of CSS 2024, which is a sheer injustice to the aspirants who have already appeared in the previous exam and have been waiting for their results for more than a year.
Announcing the previous results will help candidates analyse their mistakes and shortcomings. Those who fail CSS 2024 will be able to prepare better for the next attempt by addressing their previous weaknesses. Meanwhile, candidates passing CSS 2024 will not have to go through the exhausting process of taking the exams again. Instead, they can utilise their energy to prepare for the interview stage.
This issue needs serious attention, as CSS is not a banal exam, nor do candidates rely on luck to pass it. They dedicate years preparing for CSS which is considered the most prestigious exam in Pakistan. As a CSS aspirant who is waiting for my previous results, I request the FPSC to reconsider its decision to conduct the next exam before announcing the results of the previous one.
