In today’s competitive academic landscape, libraries that are open 24/7 have become essential as students need a dedicated space with uninterrupted access to academic resources without a deadline looming in their minds. Yet this concern goes largely unnoticed.
Present libraries in Turbat close quite early, which causes significant disruptions to student academics. In particular, students who are preparing for competitive exams or are conducting research projects largely rely on the resources provided by these libraries. And due to the lack of uninterrupted access, students are often forced to look for alternatives which are often both personally and financially inconvenient.
Uninterrupted access to study spaces and quality resources makes a huge difference when it comes to academic progress and achievement. The government and local administration should ensure setting up libraries that offer students a favourable environment for learning round the clock.
