KARACHI:
An admirable project, the People Bus Service offers the citizens of Hyderabad a comfortable and reasonably-priced mode of transportation. It’s an efficient service operation on a variety of routes in the city, thus it is vital for everyday commuters. Nonetheless, a major obstacle still faces university students, especially those enrolled at Mehran University, Sindh University, and Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshoro. Missing their allotted university points causes these students a great deal of trouble. They are compelled to take local buses or vans, which have no fixed service schedule. Thus at times, the students arrive late for class. In addition to interfering with their academic plans, this interruption makes them feel more anxious and uncomfortable.
Addressing this issue is very important. I call upon Sindh’s Minister of Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon to think about introducing a People Bus Service route that is only reserved for university students. In order to provide students with convenient transportation, this service should link Jamshoro to the hub of the city. Students’ difficulties would be substantially reduced by this, allowing them to concentrate on their studies without having to worry about erratic transportation. Making this fundamental need of the students’ community available would demonstrate a commitment on the part of the provincial government to empowering young people and creating a supportive learning environment.
