A disturbing trend is being witnessed in Turbat town of Balochistan these days: kids and young people are getting drawn into negative influences. This is an alarming situation that demands attention. It’s said if you want to destroy a country or society, you don’t need to use harmful weapons; simply spoil the lives of its young generation, and you’ll lead the nation into darkness. Unfortunately, this is precisely what’s happening in Turbat, where drug consumption among youth is being worn as a badge of honour and is spreading rapidly. Community leaders, parents and educators must take immediate action to address this issue and ensure a brighter future for our young people.
