KARACHI:

The West Indies’ historic 120-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test match is a testament to their remarkable comeback. After facing a 127-run defeat in the first Test, the visitors bounced back strongly, leveling the two-match series 1-1.

The spin department of the West Indies team played a crucial role in their victory, exploiting the spin-friendly pitch at Multan to perfection. Jomel Warrican’s impressive 5-wicket haul was particularly noteworthy, as he tore through Pakistan’s lineup to secure the win. This victory marks a significant milestone for the West Indies team, as it’s their first Test win in Pakistan in nearly 35 years. The last time they achieved this feat was in Faisalabad in November 1990.

Despite the loss, Pakistan’s performance in the series, particularly the spin department’s impressive show, deserves appreciation. The nation acknowledges the Men in Green’s efforts, and this series will surely be remembered for its thrilling moments.
