Vehari’s lost beauty

KARACHI:

The poor condition of public parks, recreational facilities and the zoo in Vehari needs urgent attention. These spaces, meant for community enjoyment and relaxation, are currently in a very bad state. The park facilities lack proper maintenance, with overgrown grass and untidy surroundings. This not only detracts from the experience but also poses health and safety risks for visitors. The zoo, which should be a place of educational entertainment, is equally neglected. It is disheartening to see that there is no proper cleanliness system, and the zoo is nearly empty, with very few animals to showcase.

It is essential that the local authorities take immediate action to improve the condition of the public parks and the zoo. Regular maintenance, the establishment of cleanliness protocols, and the introduction of more animals would help revitalise these spaces and make them attractive to visitors. Investing in these recreational facilities would not only enhance the quality of life for the residents but also attract tourists and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
