Apropos Mohd Aneeq Ur Rehman’s letter ‘The cycle of karma’ published in these columns. The writer attributed the Los Angeles fire to the Gaza carnage. In fact, Gazans are also responsible for their plight as they support Hamas whose attack on Israel in October 2023 remains the main reason for the latest trouble. Moreover, the blame also lies with the Muslim world which failed to unite in action against Israel.
And regarding the Los Angeles fire, it is the number of nuclear tests conducted by the US on land and under water that caused such a severe ecological problem. The erstwhile USSR, the UK, France, China, India and Pakistan are also responsible for spoiling the ecology of Mother Earth. Hence, all these countries are also facing natural disasters. Nobody has an exception in the court of God.
