We, the residents of Askhani, have been suffering from a severe electricity crisis which has made our daily lives extremely challenging. The root cause of this issue appears to be the inadequate transmission tower infrastructure, which leads to frequent power outages, with electricity being available for only 4 to 5 hours a day. Even during this brief period, there are voltage fluctuation issues that damage our electrical appliances. Needless to mention that this near unavailability of electricity is affecting our routine lives – men cannot get up fresh to go to work; women find it difficult to carry out household chores; and children are unable to study. We request the authorities to pay attention to our plight and take urgent steps to provide us electricity for at least half the day. Please have mercy on us!
