BD and anti-Pakistan diatribe

Letter December 19, 2024
Bangladesh and the anti-Pakistan diatribe

Bangladesh has achieved a great success during the Monsoon Revolution on 5th August 2024 against Indian hegemony pursued with the connivance of Sheikh Hasina for the last 16 years. Pakistani people and government have congratulated our Bengali brothers wholeheartedly. We understand the challenges which Bangladesh faces now from India in response to the strategic debacle it suffered at the hands of the Bengali youth and the masses.
We will stand by our Bengali brothers. It is time to build bonds which were disrupted in 1971. In this context, we would like to urge our Bangladeshi friends to ease the anti-Pakistan hype surrounding their “Victory Day” celebrations on 16th December, each year. There were mistakes and excesses from both sides. It is time to take a pause, allowing the healing process to take root. A lot of developments have taken place during the past two decades. The people of Bangladesh have suffered ruthless repression by Sheikh Hasina’s dictatorial regime supported by PM Modi and the RAW operatives. Thousands of innocent people have lost their lives. Sheikh Hasina’s overthrow was a landmark event. Bangladeshi people call this success their Second Independence — this time from India and Hindu domination. Congratulations to our Bengali brothers!
The people of Bangladesh needs to celebrate the Monsoon Revolution each year, from now onwards, with zeal and enthusiasm against Indian hegemony, and brutality perpetrated against the innocent people of Bangladesh by India’s lackey Sheikh Hasina.
