The winter season, while liked by many for the cool and calm it carries, also brings a lot of challenges. To start with, diseases like pneumonia, cough, fever and chest infections rise in winter months. An usual rush is witnessed at clinics and hospitals across the country. Additionally, shortage of natural gas occurs in this season, and people — in the upper parts of the country — have to struggle while preparing food and keeping themselves warm by operating geysers. It goes without saying that the government must pay special attention towards fulfilling the needs to the people in the winter months, in particular.
