LHV diploma: delayed result

LHV diploma: delayed result

This refers to the LHV (Lady Health Visitor) Diploma Course 2024-26 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. On 30th September 2024, candidates shortlisted for the mentioned course were interviewed at various Public Health Schools (PHS) across the province. During the interviews, the candidates were informed that those finally selected would be contacted by telephone for further instructions about visiting their respective PHSs. However, upon inquiry, the PHSs state that the list of selected candidates has been sent to the DG Health K-P for approval. However, the approval is still pending, and no final notification has been issued as yet.
This delay has caused confusion and anxiety among the successful candidates, who now harbour doubts about their future in the programme. They are concerned that the delay might lead to them losing this valuable opportunity to join the LHV Diploma Course. Moreover, the uncertainty about their selection may also cause them to miss chances for admission to other educational institutes for further studies.
I request the Chief Minister K-P, the provincial Secretary Health and the Director General of Health K-P to take immediate action in this matter and expedite the approval process. It is crucial to address this issue without any further delay so as to ensure that the deserving candidates do not miss this opportunity.
