Housing society woes

KARACHI:

River Garden is a residential housing facility located along the newly constructed Islamabad Expressway. Despite its prime location, the community is currently facing numerous problems. One of the most pressing issues pertains to lack of electricity supply. Frequent power outages have disrupted the lives of residents.
Another major issue affecting the housing society is the deep digging being carried out by contractors from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) along the banks of the expressway. These contractors have been extracting stones and clay without considering the potential dangers to the surrounding environment. This excavation has created large ponds of rainwater, posing a serious threat to the entire housing community. Additionally, this standing water could also cause significant damage to the newly constructed expressway.
Residents of the housing society are calling on the Chairman of CDA to take swift action to address these issues before the situation worsens. Without immediate intervention, these problems could escalate, endangering both the community and the infrastructure that supports it. Urgent steps are needed to protect the housing facility and ensure the safety of its residents.
