KARACHI:
Clean drinking water is increasingly becoming scarce in Pakistan. Many Pakistanis do not drink water directly from the tap, opting instead to buy bottled water from high-end companies, primarily due to concerns about quality. A significant amount of water is wasted on activities such as washing cars and houses, leading to an even greater strain on our limited resources.
The public must be educated about the importance of conserving water. Simple steps, like turning off taps when not in use, can make a big difference. Additionally, Pakistan must invest in building more dams and improving water conservation efforts to secure this vital resource for future generations. Water is essential for life. Without it, survival is impossible. Yet, we are struggling to provide clean drinking water to millions in our country. This issue is not only urgent but critical for the well-being and survival of our people.
