KARACHI:
Gwadar, the fifth largest city of Balochistan, is facing a serious traffic crisis that is causing significant problems for its residents. The heavy congestion on the roads is not only frustrating for commuters but also negatively impacting the local economy. The traffic situation in the city has become dangerous, with many lives lost due to poor traffic management. Thousands of people have suffered because of accidents and delays caused by the chaotic road conditions. This lack of effective planning and oversight has created an unsafe environment for everyone, making it crucial for the government to take action.
To address this pressing issue, the government should devise a comprehensive traffic management plan for Gwadar. This plan should include a high-level traffic map that organises and directs vehicular flow effectively. If left unaddressed, the traffic crisis could lead to even bigger problems in the future.
