KARACHI:

It is time to break the stereotype of women being responsible for the birth of a girl or boy. Scientific research concludes that a female possesses XX chromosomes and a male has XY, and they both share 50% to the child. A woman who does not have Y and a man has it means there is zero chance that the female contributes to male gender, however, male has 50% chance to contribute. Despite the fact mentioned above, women are seen responsible for child genders. Why does then society show behavioural changes to ‘her’ instead of ‘him’?
