PANJGUR:
Lack of proper radiology facilities is a major concern in Panjgur district of Balochistan. The importance of lab testing as regards medical treatment cannot be over-emphasised. Unfortunately, the labs that are available in the town for conducting even smaller tests like x-rays, ultrasound and blood examination let alone major ones like CT scan and MRI do not provide a clear picture about the level of the suffering. This is why doctors find it difficult to diagnose the disease and are thus unable to make a proper prescription. At times, the doctors have to make a knowledgeable guess about what the patient may have been suffering from. I, on behalf of all the residents, request the Government of Balochistan to set up quality laboratories in the town equipped with state-if-the-art machines and related facilities.
