Need for pedestrian bridges

Need for pedestrian bridges

KARACHI:

There is a dire need for more than one pedestrian bridge at the very busy and very long II Chundrigar Road, Karachi. Due to the unavailability of pedestrian bridges, there is a high risk of accidents because people living there or working in offices need to cross the road quite too often. Also, since the road is very busy, it takes a long time for people to go to the other side of the road. I, therefore, request the relevant authorities to immediately start working on constructing three to four pedestrian bridges at appropriate points on what was formerly called McLeod Road.
