Shortage of teachers

Shortage of teachers

KARACHI:

It goes without saying that teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of a nation. Sadly, villages in Balochistan have long been facing a significant shortage of teachers. With only four to five teachers available in a middle level school, students studying in villages struggle to get adequate attention and guidance. This leads to poor academic performance and a high dropout rate. Students are forced to sit at home uneducated, at a huge risk to their future.

The government and education authorities must ensure that teachers are appointed without any further delay. Initiatives like teacher training programmes and incentives for teachers willing to work in villages can help resolve this shortage.

By addressing this teacher shortage, we can help students in villages achieve their academic dreams and build a brighter future. Every student deserves access to quality education, regardless of where they live.
