We are hopeful that the SST and lecturer tests, which are to be administered by the SPSC testing agency, will be fair and transparent. However, as candidates, we regret to express our reservations about the SPSC’s interview policy which, we suspect, is tainted by favouritism and nepotism, and therefore should be cancelled. Instead, we propose that SELD oversee the test results and conduct departmental interviews, as was done in the JESTs 2021-2022. Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah has the authority to take this step on his own. Otherwise, these tests were already postponed due to paper leakage issues. Therefore, we kindly request the provincial minister to set up a joint team to ensure merit-based and transparent interviews for the upcoming SST and lecturer positions. Currently, there is a lack of trust in the SPSC’s ability to conduct fair interviews.
