Shortage of teachers in Turbat

Shortage of teachers in Turbat

KARACHI:

Among other deprivations, there has been a severe shortage of teachers in the local government schools in Turbat for the last several years, due to which the education in the region is on a sharp decline.

Certain schools like the Balochi Bazar High School and Shah Abad Girls School are among those that are now becoming haunted buildings because children are being moved from these schools to others. The reasons for this crisis are unknown and there is no one who is paying attention to it as yet.

Shortage of teachers does not only affect the quality of education, but also the overall development of a region, as without educationists, a locality loses out on sensibility and wisdom. The provincial government is desperately requested to allocate the local District Education Officers to pay heed to these schools by paying regular visits and taking serious notice of the situation. Most importantly, they need to address the root cause of why teachers are disappearing from these schools and make immediate recovery for their absence.
