We live in an era burdened with challenges marked by a culture of cynicism and criticism. Sincere efforts often go unappreciated, creating an atmosphere where political workers, in particular, face severe criticism during unfortunate events. Paradoxically, their endeavours in advancing progressive projects seldom receive the acknowledgement they deserve. Amidst the complexities of life’s harsh realities, a simple token of appreciation can alleviate burdens and validate one’s efforts.
The efforts of Mayor Sukkur in overseeing the transformation of the third-largest city in Sindh are worth appreciating. The city, devoid of vibrancy for the past decade, has been revitalised with the sophistication of vivid colours because of the municipal corporation’s efforts. The newly installed street lights not only illuminate the roads but also infuse the city with the essence of peace and prosperity. Sukkur’s citizens are grateful to the Mayor for this positive change and eagerly await similar progressive initiatives.
