Cheating in exams

KARACHI:

Cheating undermines the very essence of education, as it compromises the principles of honesty, hard work and fair competition. The impact is far-reaching affecting not only the cheater but also their peers and the educational institution as a whole.

Cheating diminishes the value of academic achievements. When individuals resort to dishonest means to succeed, it distorts the true reflection of their knowledge and capabilities. This not only devalues the efforts of those who work diligently but also erodes the credibility of the educational system.

Additionally, cheating fosters a culture of dishonesty and undermines the sense of academic community. Students lose trust in each other and the collaborative learning environment suffers. To overcome the impact of cheating in exams, individuals can focus on building honest study habits, seeking help when needed and embracing a growth mindset.
