KARACHI:
Dadu faces a dearth of eye care facilities, leaving residents with limited options for specialised treatments. This healthcare gap poses significant challenges for those grappling with vision impairments, eye diseases and related issues. The scarcity of quality eye care services necessitates individuals to travel to neighbouring cities, incurring additional costs and causing delays in receiving timely medical attention.
To address this issue, organising outreach programmes, awareness campaigns and educational initiatives can empower residents with the knowledge necessary for maintaining good eye health and seeking prompt medical attention. The establishment of an eye hospital in Dadu would bring numerous benefits to both the community and the city’s overall development. Improved eye health would enhance workforce productivity allowing individuals to engage in daily activities without hindrance from vision-related issues. Moreover, reducing dependency on external healthcare facilities would conserve resources and boost the local economy.
Dadu stands at a pivotal juncture where establishing an eye hospital is not only a healthcare necessity but also a catalyst for community well-being and progress. Meeting this need would not only enhance residents’ quality of life but also contribute to the overall development of the city. Collaboration among the government, local authorities, healthcare professionals and community members is essential to proactively realise the vision of a healthier and more vibrant Dadu.
