The scarcity of gas becomes an annual winter challenge, leaving households to grapple with the difficulties of cooking and cleaning. This situation places an additional burden on families, especially those already facing economic hardships, as many have to turn to LPG, which often comes at a higher cost. Relying on LPG, while providing temporary relief, is not a sustainable solution. The increased demand for LPG during these shortages leads to escalating prices, making it financially challenging for the common man. I urge the relevant authorities to address this matter urgently by ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of gas to the citizens of Karachi. Access to essential utilities, especially during the winter, is a fundamental need that significantly impacts our well-being.
