Rising inflation and deteriorating economic conditions have led to increased unemployment nationwide. Businesses across various sectors and industries are compelled to either partially or completely halt operations to reduce costs and sustain profitability. Meanwhile, every year, thousands of graduates enter the job market. The surplus of labour in various professions has contributed to lower salaries and fewer job vacancies. Successive governments have overlooked this challenge leading to growing resentment among the populace. Consequently, many individuals have been forced to seek better livelihoods abroad. The relevant authorities must take urgent and concrete action to address this pressing challenge.
