Hostel woes

Hostel woes

KARACHI:

The students of Balochistan have been grappling with numerous challenges for many years, primarily stemming from the prolonged closure of hostels at Atta Shad Degree College. This persistent issue has created myriad difficulties for students, especially those hailing from distant villages who aspire to pursue higher education.

Living arrangements play a crucial role in a student’s educational journey, and the unavailability of hostels poses a significant obstacle to those aspiring to reside on campus. The inability to secure accommodation within the proximity of the college not only disrupts their academic routine but also adds an additional layer of stress and inconvenience. This issue highlights a notable shortcoming on the part of the government as the prolonged closure of hostels suggests a lack of commitment to providing essential facilities to students. The government’s apparent disregard for this matter is detrimental to the educational well-being of students.

I implore the government of Balochistan to prioritise and expedite the reopening of the hostels in Turbat. Addressing this pressing concern is imperative to alleviate the burdens faced by students enabling them to pursue their education with focus and dedication. I hope that the government will take swift and decisive action to rectify this situation and ensure a conducive environment for the academic growth of the students in Balochistan.
