KARACHI:
Street animals, particularly dogs, cats and cows, face a multitude of challenges that compromise their wellbeing While we often gets busy in our daily lives, these voiceless creatures continue to suffer. They are exposed to harsh weather conditions, starvation, disease and the constant danger of traffic accidents. So it is our moral responsibility to address this issue.
Furthermore, the presence of street animals contributes to the issue of land pollution. As they scavenge for food, these animals often rummage through garbage dumps and waste disposal areas, spreading litter across our streets and neighborhoods. This not only harms the appearance of our community but also has environmental consequences, as it contributes to land pollution. The environmental impact of this issue is often underestimated, but it directly affects the quality of life for residents.
While some local organisations work tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate street animals, their efforts are often constrained by limited resources and a shortage of helping hands. Our community must come together and support these endeavours, working collaboratively to improve the lives of these animals and minimise the environmental impact. By addressing this issue, we can create a safer and more humane environment for everyone, including these innocent beings, ensuring that they no longer suffer in silence, while also contributing to a cleaner and healthier community.
