Marine conservation

KARACHI:

Human actions are seriously harming marine life. Every year, many sea creatures die because people are careless. Plastics, in particular, are a big problem, and lots of species are now at risk. Shockingly, our oceans are now more polluted than the land, with 80% of the mess coming from what we do on land.

This isn’t just about the environment; it’s about treating other creatures fairly. Animals in the sea deserve to live safely, but humans often ignore that. Those working with the ocean need to be super careful about how they do things.

One major issue is ships releasing a ton of oil, which harms plants and animals. Humans are also causing problems with plastic, overfishing, toxic waste, bad fishing practices and pollution from burning things. Animals like seals and sea lions are getting hurt or killed by plastic. People in charge of ships and fishing need to be responsible and do things in a way that won’t hurt the sea.
